Implementation of hazardous fuels reduction treatments in accordance with federal and state land management specifications, including hand cutting, 

piling, and slash treatment to support wildfire mitigation and forest health objectives. 

 Commercial & Pre-Commercial Thinning
Professional saw crews performing pre-commercial and commercial thinning treatments across variable terrain and stand conditions, coordinating as required with timber operations and land management personnel. 

 Professional Hand Crews
Structured 5–8 person chainsaw crews with designated field supervision, experienced in thinning, brush removal, pile construction, and multi-week project mobilization under agency specifications.

Interstate Forestry LLC deploys dedicated 5–8 person professional hand crews led by experienced field supervision. Crew size and configuration are adjusted based on task order scope, terrain, and treatment specifications.

Our teams are capable of multi-week mobilization across Southern and Central Oregon and Northern California. Additional personnel can be scaled as required based on contract demand and project timelines.

All crew members are equipped with required PPE and operate in accordance with agency safety protocols and daily tailgate briefings.

Interstate Forestry LLC has performed fuels reduction and forest health treatments in coordination with federal land management objectives throughout Southern Oregon.

Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) – Jackson County, OR
Fuels Reduction / Cut & Pile Treatments
• 19 acres – October–November 2024
• 24 acres – January–February 2026
• 18.7 acres – February 2026
Scope included hand cutting, pile construction, brush management, and treatment implementation across variable terrain and stand conditions.

Work was completed in accordance with agency specifications and production timelines.

Interstate Forestry LLC maintains a safety-focused work culture aligned with federal and state land management requirements. Crew safety, site control, and compliance documentation are integrated into daily operations.

Safety Practices Include:
• Daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and tailgate safety briefings
• Designated Crew Boss supervision on each project
• Required PPE for all field personnel
• Chainsaw-trained and field-experienced sawyers
• Equipment inspection and maintenance protocols
• Incident reporting and corrective action procedures

Interstate Forestry LLC carries General Liability and Workers’ Compensation insurance and operates in accordance with applicable agency safety standards and contract specifications.
